In the half light of the morning.

Two lovers still in bed.

She is half asleep & her body is still warm & wet from the night before.

She wants more love.

She clings to him for a while.

He is wide awake.

He says: "I want a cup of coffee.'

She is angry now.

"Why does this guy only think about his coffee?"

"Go", she says shortly.

As if hurt.

She turns away & doesn't answer him anymore.

He is thinking.

What is this flash of consciousness, this so-called life?

We have a short space of time.

We come & go from nowhere.

Who are all these people like snakes who don't care at all & try to obstruct us?
